SUPPORT OUR 2017 FUND-RAISING APPEAL
- ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL -
We are currently fund-raising to improve our facilities for the less able. We would like to install Changing Places facilities (see www.changing-places.org for more info), designed to make a safer, more comfortable environment for adults and older children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, as well as physical disabilities. There are 10 million registered disabled people in the
We would also like to install two pairs of fully automatic doors, with push buttons, at our main entrance. These will benefit not only those with disabilities, but users with pushchairs.
All together, the new facilities will cost some £29,000. We have currently raised, or had committed, some £25,000. As a charity, we would appreciate your support in helping us to raise the rest of the required funds in order to install these much needed facilities as soon as possible. You can help with all our fundraising efforts by making a donation at www.localgiving.com/regencentre.
You can also help us raise funds by shopping at the Selby or Brayton Tesco in September and October and through the Co-op Local Community Fund by becoming a Co-op member and buying Co-op branded products through to mid-October. Full details of the latter can be found on the Co-op website (https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/8543/).
Alternatively, ask at Reception or call 01757 248849 for more information.
