Body-Fix Boot Camp

Body Fix Boot Camp has run since 2007 and aims to deliver a Personal Trainer level of service at a fitness class price. Running in 4-week blocks, we begin each block with a focus on technique with sessions gradually increasing in difficulty as the group progresses. 
 
Although sessions are group workouts, they are modified to each individual in the group with adaptations for anyone with any previous or current injury.
 
The exercise sessions are supported by a user friendly nutrition plan to compliment the workouts you are doing.
 
Sessions are held at 6.15am, 9.30am and 6.15pm spread throughout the week.

Nordic Walking

 
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking – it makes something we can all do…. twice as effective! Nordic Walking uses poles in order to add two major benefits to walking

• The use of poles means the upper body muscles are used as well as the legs
• The poles help to propel the walker along – this means he/she works harder than usual yet the support given by the poles makes it feel easier!
 
Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing. Nordic Walking is the fastest growing fitness activity in the world and is used by individuals, personal trainers, health clubs, physiotherapists, doctors and health promoters because it is highly effective, affordable and FUN! Nordic Walking technique MUST be learnt correctly if the participant is to get the most out of the activity.
 
We run Level 1 Technique programs and regular walks starting from The Regen Centre.

Modern LJ Pilates specialises in helping you relieve your aches and pains by providing a modern range of effective principles and exercises based on up to date research from the world of Physiotherapy and Pilates exercises, ideal for anyone wishing to improve posture, strengthen their back and reduce a range of back, shoulder, neck and pelvic pain.

Sessions are held at the Regen Centre on Wednesdays 11.30am - 12.30pm.

Riccall United Football Club

Riccall United Football Club is an adult and junior football club situated in the village of Riccall. Our home is the Riccall Sportsfield down Landing Lane on the edge of the village. The club benefits from excellent changing facilities in the Regen Centre.

Founded in 1919, the club is currently celebrating it’s 96th year in existence. The club currently provides football to up to 50 adults across two teams, ranging from the age of 16-41. In 2009, the club formed a junior section and have since formed partnerships with York City in the community and a number of local schools to provide football to children aged 2-16 in a safe environment.

The club is affiliated to the East Riding County Football Association playing in the York Minster Engineering Football League and the Selby & District Junior Football League (Under 7′s, 8′s and 10′s) with a further side in the York Minor Football League (Under 13′s).

Slimming World

Slimming World is a programme that aims to support you in reaching your own weight-loss target by giving you guidance and advice on eating and lifestyle choices.

By attending the Slimming World sessions, you can enjoy the company of other slimmers who understand how you feel and who can help and support you as well as benfitting from the help of the group leaders who have been members and been through the weight-loss process themselves. They will weight you regularly, which always remains private and confidential.

Sessions are held by Doreen on Wednesday at 5pm and 7pm.
